The Suns have done absolutely nothing over the past few games to give me a reason to believe this will be a good basketball team this year.
So, for now, the Suns are a bad basketball team.
Phoenix dropped another game to the Portland Trail Blazers last night, losing 132-119 on its home court, and it wasn't even close. Jordan Ott seemed to run out of answers, and nobody besides Devin Booker could buy a bucket. Both Jalen Green and Miles Bridges missed multiple layups, while Luke Kennard couldn't even get a shot off.
I've been chalking these losses up to a slow start, but at some point, we need to have a hard conversation: Are the Suns actually a bad basketball team?
